For two weeks I have not gotten more than 90 minutes of sleep at a time. I am tired. Using the word exhausted would not be an understatement. As soon as I start to think I am doing pretty good I completely lose my train of thought or forget what I walked into a room for or realize I am zoned out staring off into space.
I want to share with you how wonderful life is right now. Telling you that being a mom is simple and that I am using all the tools I have would be awesome. I have a very blessed life and I do not want to make light of that. I have a supportive tribe and family. I am educated in all I need to do to take care of myself, I know how to eat right, exercise safely and what to do for self care that helps me recharge.
And guess what!?
None of that support, education and tools help if they aren’t being used!
I am sharing this because TODAY (the day you are reading this, whenever that is) is the day to take simple and quick action toward what NEEDS to happy to feel a little better and begin again to find our path to Thrive Daily.
Here is what I am going to do today...AND daily moving forward….
- Drink 100 ounces of water
- Take my supplements
- Move for 10 minutes (I would love to say 30 but that would set me up for failure right now)
- Write in my journal
- Meditate (see this as quiet time all to myself without any electronics)
Each of these 5 things is quick and easier not to do. But also simple to do. Each item on that list helps me in a different way to feel better from the inside.
